Standard First Aid Level C

This program is designed to equip you with essential skills to effectively respond to medical emergencies in various settings such as the workplace or your home. The 2-day course meets workplace regulatory requirements and covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children and infants. Additionally, the course covers topics such as how to control bleeding, shock, stabilizing fractures and dislocations, head and spine injuries, and more.

Emergency First Aid Level C

The Emergency First Aid Level C course is designed to provide basic and urgent assistance to injured or ill adults, children and infants. This extensive 1-day course uses proven methods to teach participants how to determine the severity of a patient's condition and provide safe intervention when providing emergency support. It is ideal for lay rescuers or employees who require 8 hours or less of emergency basic first aid instruction/practice per Provincial and Federal Health & Safety Regulations.

Certificate Valid for 3 years.

Level A certification is available on request. The only difference in this course is it's basic, urgent assistance to injured or ill adult.

First Aid Kit

Standard First Aid Level BLS

This 18-hour course is a combination of our Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider courses, providing a comprehensive foundation in emergency response and care. It is designed for healthcare and emergency care professionals and providers across various disciplines, meeting provincial workplace regulatory requirements. The course covers recognizing and stabilizing ill or injured persons with life-threatening emergencies, providing CPR, using an AED, and relieving choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Upon completion, students earn a 3-year Standard First Aid certification and a one-year BLS Provider card.

Heart & Stroke's Basic Life Support (BLS) course is the foundation for healthcare professionals and trained first responders who provide care to patients in various settings. Our BLS training courses, infused with Heart & Stroke's 2020 Guidelines for CPR teach theoretical and hands-on skills needed to respond to medical emergencies and achieve the best possible patient outcomes. With our new, user-friendly online platform, students can choose between a blended learning format or a completely in-person course led by a qualified instructor, ensuring flexibility and convenience.

Heartsaver CPR & AED Level C

All Heartsaver® CPR AED – Level C courses have the same objective - to provide you with the knowledge and practical skills to perform CPR and use an AED on adults, children and infants experiencing cardiac arrest in a safe effective manner. In just a few hours, you will gain the confidence and ability to perform critical life-saving skills through video-based lectures, hands-on practice and knowledge skills testing. The course covers the introduction to CPR and AED, signs of cardiac arrest, how to perform high-quality CPR and how use an AED.

Certificate valid for 2 years

Level A certification is available on request. The only difference in this course is it's to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) on an adult experiencing a cardiac arrest in a safe, timely and effective manner.
